PRICE DROP- I have a nice gaited Morgan mare for sale. She is 18 yrs old. In very good health. Up to date on Coggins. Will be due for fall shots end of Oct. This is a nice mare. Very pretty and has the best ground manners ever. Gets along well with other horses. Trailers well. We just went camping at Uwharrie National Forest and she did fantastic. Picket lines great. Trailers great. Went up and down the pretty rugged terrain and through a lot of mud and muck with ease. She stood like a statue when we sprayed them down after trail riding. Now the reason I am selling her is because I am use to quarter horses and thought I would like the gaited thing. I really don't care for it as much as I thought I would. She is very smooth but I prefer the slow loppy trot. This is a hard decision and she will only go to the right home. She can also be a little too high headed for me. One bad thing she does and I am being honest, she will sling her head back when you back her. She has gotten better. I prefer someone with gaited horse experience. Now she is not an endurance horse, she is not a racking mare she is just a basic, nice riding trail horse. She will walk with a quarter horse. She actually prefers to follow and can be a little more forward when following and slows down when in lead. I will not sell her to a beginner or for a child unless they are confident. Not because she is hard to get along with or to ride, I just want her to be enjoyed and treated right by a more experienced rider. Keep in mind I have been riding her and have done good and I am a timid rider. I just prefer a quarter horse. We love her though and want her to go to a good home only. Must have shelter also. She is a very nice trail horse. Shasta trailers good and does good for the farrier. She does have slimmer withers but a good pad works great. This is a nice seasoned trail horse. She also neck reins great. She is about 15.1 hands. If interested please contact me at the number provided.
