Rosie is very quiet on the ground, she has been used on pony days for hours of grooming and grooming for 4 yr old RDA clients, in this respect she is very much a first pony. Never kicked. Very cuddly and adorable, loves people and attention, all the clients love her at the riding school, she is a pretty mare. Think she would be good for pony club as she is so laid back, have not known her to spook at anything. Does actually try very hard when ridden, smart little pony that understandably gets bored with just going round in circles in the school for little lead rein lessons. Brilliant jumper and very willing, in little jumping we have done with her she has never refused or tried to run out. Quite easy to ride. Passed a 2 stage vetting in Sept 09. Rosie would suit a confident rider. She is very food orientated so if she sees food will try to head towards it so needs a rider with the confidence/strength to steer her in the other direction or she will take the micky. She is not strong, a small child can easily manage this it is just having the confidence to do so (not a very soft beginner type). So I guess a slightly older child. She is very well built and has easily carried up to 9 stone before (although would not recommend this weight for permanent rider). She has short legs so a small stride, she is so much fun to ride.
