Chief is a young and athletic 15.2h, 5 yr old gelding. Just started under saddle after a couple of years off and he's handling it like a pro! Has gaits that are as smooth as butter and is giving nicely to the bit. Loaded into the trailer with no issues, went on a 2 hour trail ride, works in the arena, and even went over a few low jumps without hesitation. He works best under a confident rider but has been ridden by a young girl and listened very well, too. He has been left alone to stand tied and would paw at the ground but was otherwise fine. Tacks up easily, learning to work on a longe line, and likes to be tasked to new things. He's the kind of horse that needs to be messed with and put to work or he will pay attention to everything he's not supposed to! He's willing, fun to ride, and fast! UTD on shots, dewormer, and will have his feet trimmed soon. No soundness or lameness issues. Any reasonable offers will be considered. No trades.
