SOPHIE HAS BEEN RANCH COW SORTING 3 TIMES NOW. SHE IS A MACHINE AND COMPETES WITH ALL OF EM. NO FEAR.
She recently did a charity trail ride. 86 horses, 3 hours, bridges, water, and all. She had enough energy to do it again.
Sophie is an 8year old Halflinger Mare. She has ben ridden extensively for the last year, both English and Western, and has turned into one fun horse. Very sensitive on her cues, lots of controllable energy. Currently she is continuing training and is being usd for lessons. She is suitable for about anyone who knows how to ride but she is to responsive and soft for those who dont have ANY experience.. Knows canter leads . Very willing to jump, however she has only been put over cross rails, never refusing. Her favorite gait is a trot and it is smooth as silk, both fast and slow. 100% sound and healthy, stong hooves, big boned legs and a mane and tail to die for. Small enough for the smallest person but strong enough for a 200 pound adult. No vices, except she hates clippers. She has participated in Rich Bradshaws Obstacle Course and took third place (rookie division). I took her to ranch COW SORTING.and she was doing turnbacks in about 15 minutes, the full sort after 45 minutes, and in the little competition at the end (three round elimination) she took 1st out of 12 teams. No fear at all and behaved the whole time. After 2 1/2 hours she still had more GOOD energy then the Energizer Bunny. Really would be a fun pony club or 4H horse. Email back or call Jeff at 440-708-2662 if you would like to see her. Suitable for anybody that knows how to ride but to good for the 8 year old with 5 riding lessons. Price is 100% firm, she is well worth it and a whole lot more.
