Exceptional 3 year old warmblood sporthorse mare. Sire was a big bodied, level headed TB with impeccable bloodlines, imported from Argentina and dam is an elegant Friesian/TB mare which makes Zoe 3/4 TB and 1/4 Frieisan. She's a big bodied, muscular mare with the athletic ability and talent to excell in whatever discipline you chose for her. She's currently 15.3H and still growing. Big moving mare with three wonderful gaits. Judges raved over her walk at her breed inspection as a yearling, trot has wonderful reach and elevation and she has a to die for canter! Zoe has been free jumped and has gorgeous form and a natural love of jumping. This girl will have NO problem making the strides and is a definite looker so you're not going to get lost from the judge in the show ring!
She's had one owner and been handled since birth. Zoe bathes, clips, trims, trailers, is good for the vet, farrier, dentist, and chiropractor. Has been worked with on desensitizing work (tarps, tires, etc...). As a yearling she spent almost 6 months at the 5W Ranch in Ohatchee, AL, in their Underwater Treadmill Conditioning Program, so she has no problems with water!
Zoe has an amazing personality, loves people and was wonderful when I weaned her younger sibling with her. She's curious about everything and would prefer to check it out rather than be scared, but this girl is truly a boss mare in the making, just like her dam and will need someone who knows how to handle these a strong minded mare. I own Zoe's dam and younger sister, both of which are also for sale. I hate to part with these girls, but I'm moving and can't take the whole herd.
Zoe isn't broken to saddle yet, but she is scheduled to go to the trainers at the first of March where she'll stay for 60 days. Training is to include under saddle work (W/T/C and lateral work), obstacle course work, trail riding and exposure to various settings such as indoor arenas, cattle, road work, etc...
This isn't the best picture and her neck is actually longer and more well balanced than it appears, but she kept playing with the bit and curling over. :) I couldn't find my good show halter, so used a bridle instead and forgot this was her first time wearing a bridle! You would never have guess she never had a bit in her mouth with the way she accepted it!
There's so much more I can tell you about this girl and wll be glad to email more pictures to anyone interested.
She will only go to a great home and a show/competition home is preferred.
