Free Haflinger Gelding
We took in Shine after he was abandoned buy his owner 6 years ago and we can no longer keep him. I think he is a cross between a Comtois and a Haflinger. He is bigger than an average haflinger, around 14.5 hand. He has been in a bridal many times but we do not have the need to use one since we do not ride him or work him. We have been able to put young children and a saddle on his back and walk around. Before the previous owner had him he was a trail riding horse. Not sure his age but he is at least 20. He is a very friendly horse and needs to have other animals around to keep him company. He gets very attached to his companions and would not do well alone. He stays outside most of the time. He is well suited for the cold weather. He is just a pasture horse or companion horse. He has no health issues that we know of.
