Jerry is an American Saddlebred that got all the bold, beauty, and brains. He is big and durable, and yet still pretty.... however did not get the trot or NATURAL(saddle seat) head set. He was raised and trained in a saddlebred training facility in stillwater mostly driving...however jerry was not too into driving so after a few years there he was brought to a farm in WI for WESTERN training/TRAIL! HE IS A GREAT FLASHY TRAIL HORSE! (in between training barns hed go "home" and ride/drive trails.(the owner is into show driving horses and now has a show horse that is a good old guy and would like to get jerry with a more confident rider/owner/trainer. now Jerry is in Dennison learning hunt seat and DOING GREAT loves jumping! He has some ground manner issues and CAN NOT BE MAN HANDLED there is no yelling or hitting this horse...he will tell you where to go and how to get there if you do ....the best is to ignore some things and stay calm and quite just do what you need to no fussing around...the only time this behavior shows is when you are tacking/grooming, for some reason he gets anxious about this; and what I have been doing to calm him... is lounge him first real quick ....and then tack and that seems to do the trick. (new environment? Ive had him sense DEC 15th) Jerry is all around though a sweet guy and really needs a best/lifer friend/relationship. I think if in the right hands this horse could be able to show and compete and do well! I would consider this horse EXTREMELY valuable placed in the right hands.
