Gorgeous black bay 14.2 hand 12 to 13 year old Arabian mare for sale. Not registered. Has been shown in hunter pony flat classes on the local CHSC show circuit as well as at the district and state 4H horse shows. Does well on trails. She has no experience jumping. We purchased her as a first horse for our daughter who was 14 at the time. She is now off at college and for the past 2 years, the horse has been ridden on and off by different children and teenagers at the barn where we board. She has put on a bit of weight due to not being worked on a regular basis. Would make a great first horse for an intermediate rider or a beginner who has access to a trainer/lessons as she is an Arab and does tend to test her riders :) She has never reared or bucked. She is easy to catch in the pasture and stands well for the farrier. A loving home is a must, with a stall, as she never develops much of a winter coat.
