Registered Morab and half Arabian. Joy is truly a joy to ride if you like to go. Has camped at mountains and ridden at the beach. Strong and sturdy has easily handled carrying 230 pounds saddle and rider all day in mountains. Large bone 8 3/4" cannons. Taught Parelli NH Style she rides in a comfort snaffle or halter hackamore currently.Bold moving mare so she needs someone who likes to ride when they are on her, she is not a passenger carrier. Nice fast walk, her dam is gaited and she can gait but prefers to trot. Can be bred to silver dapple gaited Morgan stallion for additional. Dam sold in foal to my Morgan stud to Canada and had a lovely silver dapple filly. Possible to breed Joy to the silver dapple stallion for additional fee.
Lovely ride for endurance or trail. Never wears shoes nice big hooves. Might trade her and our 2 horse diagonal trailer for a 3/4 horse diagonal, especially if it has a place for a bed in a gooseneck. Or part trade for horse quality hay. Her sire won in many divisions in Arabian shows over the years, halter, western, most classic ,hunt seat and many of his offspring have regional wins. Joy could easily make a nice show horse. May lease with purchase option to the right person.Must be kept barefoot or in boots if lease is to be considered and husband says local lease only as we had a bad deal on a long distance lease once. So perhaps 6-7 hours away from Eugene or closer and she would have to be insured but no other actual lease costs. I would like to lease her out for 2-3 years before I bred her to my young Morab colt.
