FEI Dressage Prospect!

4 Year Old FEI prospect for an ambitious dressage rider. Desire has amazing presence in the show ring that turns heads at every step! She has a solid head on her shoulders which makes her super quiet and easy to handle and ride at shows, and loves to come to work every day. Her gaits just float over the ground, and even in her young stage of development, her ground covering trot is easy to sit. And that WALK! Always scoring high on her walk, she scored a 8.5 from two "S" judges at her first show, with comments including "good rhythm, reach, & swing". Other comments include: "elastic trot", "lateral flexibility impressive", "elegant horse, shows lots of potential".

Desire is a 16 hand and growing coal black Hanoverian mare sired by Donarweiss (DeNero/Hohenstein) out of Roxand VA (Rosantau/Weltmeyer). She has elegant conformation with a pretty head, correct straight legs, and wonderful feet, and has her daddy's cute jagged-edged blaze. She was shown on the line and was crowned Champion Filly and Champion Young Horse at multiple shows, including the USDF/GAIG NW Series Finals, where she beat out all of the top fillies in the region! She was also placed in the Main Studbook at the Hanoverian Inspection in 2011.

Desire is in full training at Pyramid Equestrian and is competing in the USEF 4 Year Old Young Horse tests this year with hopes to qualify for the Young Horse Championships this fall at Lamplight. Her training program has been slow and progressive to ensure long-term soundness and that she continues to enjoy her job. She is offered for sale to a special home only.
