Doc is a fantastic, safe, sane and forward trail horse. I have ridden him all over - through streams, tough rocky trails, bridges, tunnels, roads. He has an outstanding, smoothing running walk. He had a teddy bear personality and absolutely loves attention whether on the ground or cruising down the trail. He also excels at trail riding alone. I have taken him out at night by himself and he is a perfect gentleman. He as done many hunt paces and trail events and he is well behaved.
The only reason this gelding is for sale is because I would like to pursue competitive endurance riding and Doc would rather cruise down the trail than gallop down it. He has competed in limited distance Competitive Trail and Endurance and done well, however I'd like to go farther (100 miles) and faster (in less than 20 hours).
