Prospecting Lexus (Lexus) is a 9 year old American Warmblood gelding. He is ¾ Thoroughbred and ¼ Belgian/Shire. His sire is Bob’s Prospect out of Crafty Prospector and Mr. Prospector from Fayetteville, AR. Lexus stands approximately 16.2 hands tall. He is pretty consistent with walk/trot/canter, but does need a bit of a tune up to aid in collection and balance. He will perform basic lateral movements to include shoulder in, shoulder out, haunches in, haunches out, leg yields, turn on the haunch, and turn on the forehand. He will also spiral in and out at the walk and trot on a circle. He has consistently jumped 2’9�, and has jumped up to 3’3� with a novice rider. He is very willing to jump, but is not pushy around the ring. He has not had any cross country schooling other than small logs on the trail and large ditches and creeks. He has been trail ridden, too. He had 30 days of professional Dressage training in May 2010. He is current on vaccinations and is dewormed every other month, and has a current, negative coggins. He is shod every 6 to 8 weeks, as needed. He stands tied and cross tied, loads/unloads well, and bathes and clips well. He is a very sweet and personable guy, but he is not suitable for a beginner. He can be a bit strong at times, and needs a confident, secure rider. Video clips and more pictures available upon request.
