Bowler, AKA B-Man, Is a very sweet and gentel Thoroughbred.7 years old at 16.2 hands . He had a short racing career and is still clean legged!! Vet Check, 100%!!! B-Man has the movement and the mind to be very successful at eventing, hunter/jumper or level two dressage. After he's racing career B-Man did 2 years of dressage training until his owner went to college, the parents didn't take great care of him as far as feeding, so a neighbor ( friend of mine in S VT took him on, but she is a draft person, so he ended up with me). He has a very loving personality and a great work ethic. He needs a strong but light handed and leg rider, He is all voice command. NO need to have a heavy leg with him. He Came to us last fall very under weight and under worked. The first time I rode him, he was out of control, all he knew was "GO" and stay going! After a full winter under saddle, B-Man has re-learned to walk, trot and canter at a pleasurable and comforable rate. He also is remember his dressage training. I will say that B-Man does need a reminder once and a while that he is NO longer a race horse. (this is a reason for a strong rider) a lounge (which he does at voice command) or a full walk around the ring, everything he has learned over the winter comes right back!
