Parelli method trained, fairly bombproof, forward moving and extremely dependable. Prado is a happy little guy and seems to really enjoy life. He rides on a very loose rein, causually walks along or will give you a flawless extended trot and can trot for 10 miles without breaking a sweat. Wears Boa boots but has been shod and does well either way. He will stand tied to a tree, he ground ties, he comes at a gallop when you call him, he is mannerly and respectful of people and other animals. He is well schooled in the ring but much prefers the trails. He is ridden about five days a week. Loves new trails. He will ride alone or with a group.. He is fine with new friends on the trail and does not get upset if others trot off without him. Wonderful stable manners. Self loads in his trailer. Wears Old Mac boots so requires just a trim every 12 weeks. Keeps a neat stall and gets along with everyone. Rider pictured is 79 years old and feels safe w-t-c on trails and in fields. Enjoys low level drassage work. Very smart and fun to ride.
