Evalina has a wonderful disposition for her age. She's been clipped, tied, trailered, trimmed, groomed, bathed, she leads well, gets along great with geldings and mares, has a healthy appetite, and gosh she listens like a dream. This filly is the most willing equine I have ever come in contact with. She's been jumped twice for videos, but due to her age we don't want to put more stress on her growing body. She spends most of her time out in pasture or in her paddock/pen. She is longed once a week and is groomed often. She does not act her age. Eva is beyond her years. She will jump ANYTHING: logs, barrels, flowers, a pumpkin .... She's that willing. She WANTS to learn. She has the potential to either stay pony-sized or grow to a small horse size. At most she will be 15.2... but that's highly doubtful. I put a tape to her 2 weeks ago, she's 13.1 now, about a year and 8 months old. She was clipped for the first time 3 weeks ago and trimmed for the first time as well, on the same day! She stood perfect for the farrier and didn't mind getting her body clipped. She does mind her ears a bit and the lower part of her legs.
Evalina is by Zen Maestro (Concorde, Voltaire) and out of an OTTB mare. I can't stress enough this filly's wonderful temperament... she has unlimited potential because of it. Here is a video of her jumping and longing:
