A grand daughter of the Trakehner stallion, Hansel who's dam was a grand daughter of the superior dressage producer Pregelstrand *Pg*E*, by a straight Egyptian Arabian stallion bred thru Bedouin ideals to excel as a sire for trainability, endurance, strength, speed, and agility. The Trakehner grandsire, Hansel, was bred by Gerhard Schickedanz. Hansel demonstrated great versatility as a performance horse. In 1985 he finished 4th in AHSA Zone 8 as a First-Year Green Hunter. The following year he finished 4th for the year in AHSA Zone 8 in Training Level Dressage while continuing to compete successfully in Second-Year Green and Amateur-Owner Hunters. Then in 1989 he was Reserve Champion at Training Level Eventing for the American Trakehner Association. Hänsel continued to compete successfully through Prelimary eventing and Third Level dressage.
Pregelstrand *Pg*E* was an accomplished FEI performance horse and producer of excellent dressage horses, for example, the WBFSH 3rd ranked Hannabal, ridden by Leslie Webb. In 1989, Pregelstrand had more offspring receiving awards from the US Dressage Federation than any other stallion of any other breed. He was also a very accomplished competitor. He qualified 3 years for the INSILCO/USDF Dressage Championships. In 1983, he placed 11th in the USDF Horse of the Year at Intermediate 1 and stood 3rd nationally in the AHSA Finals at Prix St Georges. He was a member of the Silver Medal Team. He was also known as a good producer of brood mares for the ATA stud books.
Blanche is a 15.1 1/2 hand power house of a mare Refinement, strength, and agility are her trademarks. Eventing and Dressage should be her forte`. Blanche was started under saddle lightly as a three year old, and then put up to grow and mature. I started working with her again just last week, and in just three lessons I was on her back. She is super easy and a lot of fun to work with, and now that she's being worked again, her price will increase with training. Blanche is a good girl. She is comfortable being alone or with a group, she wears blankets, sheets, a neck cover, leg wraps, boots, fly mask- you name it. She is good for the farrier, jumps onto my trailer and hauls quietly. Ties, leads, stands for her mane to be pulled- she is a good girl for the most part, just coming into the phase where she is looking for, and really wanting attention. Her mind is like a sponge right now. Show her and she will remember for ever.
She is registered with the ATA and eligible for AHA, with the best older Straight Egyptian Arabian and Trakehner performance bloodlines, she will also be an asset to your breeding program. She is the only daughter to carry on her dam lines, with Bien Amie gone, there will be no more like her!
