This colt is by the 2 time Olympic short listed stallion for dressage, Rubignon. Rubignon is sired by the GP Olympic Dressage stallion Rubinstein (17 GP dressag wins) and has the dam sire of world games gold medal winner Donnerhall (67 GP wins!) and out of a mare by Fortune Hunter. Fortune Hunter is by First Class, who was champion of his stallion testing, with the dam sire of Andiamo who was champion of his Danish Stallion testing and has a 4 generation of States Premium mares. Not to mention the incredible Zeus, who has produced so many get and grand get in the Olympic and International arenas.
"Royal" is just that. His name is Royal Fortune --for the Royal Dressage blood from his sire and the "Fortune" of desired blood on his dam side. He is chestnut, with 2 matching high hind socks. He is my dream horse and only for sale to the perfect home. He has incredible movement, the best temperment I have ever been around, after 25 years of breeding warmbloods.
He has been bridled, saddled, lunged lightly, ground driven, I have had kids sit on his back, he has been exposed to Silly Spray, popping guns, blow up pool toys, bells, horns, tarps, you name it--he is okay with it. Lots of ground work and ready to start under saddle. I feel he is still not ready maturity (physical) to put a lot of time under saddle yet, but if I still have him, will start lightly this fall. He has had the upmost care in raising him with love and respect.
3 years old, around 16.2+ hands, easy going, kind and super colts.
