This saddle is made up of a very nice leather with brass hardware and purchased by me directly from Down Under Saddlery Company less than 2 months ago. It doesn't fit any of my horses, which are round like a barrel and mutton withered (haflinger and a haflinger cross). I have ridden in it about 15 to 20 times. It weighs about 17 lbs, the seat is 17" and the tree is a wide. If you are familiar with this companies saddles you know that means you can send it in and have it sized to fit your horse regardless of where you purchased it. I'm sure there is a fee but you would have to contact the company for that information. The girthing system on this saddle is english, it does not use the aussie overgirth, they advertise that it is built in.
I am selling the saddle with their merino wool stirrup covers, breast plate, 24" neoprene girth, suede pads for the stirrups, an Equipedic pad, and a never used saddle bag with two water bottles. As you can see, I bought it all! I paid about $1350 in total. I found this saddle to be extremely comfortable for the rider, no sore behind or knee pain. I really enjoyed it, I simply don't have the right type of horse for this saddle as they are just too wide causing the saddle to feel like it rocks. I put it on a friends horse to be sure it wasn't the saddle, fit fine with no rocking.
