Ellie Mae has been proven in the show ring and been on too many trail rides to count. She has ridden alone on the trails or gone in a group. She has picketed overnight on group trail rides. She has won numerous Versatility and Sport Horse Awards earning her Supreme Sport Horse championship. She has a good backend and has many gears! She has alot of chrome including a heart on her neck and a horseshoe over her backend! She loves to be clipped and groomed. She requires a confident rider as she can be a determined mare. She has had inexperienced riders for short trail rides and youth riders in an arena setting. She loves to be in the pasture, but has also been in a stall. She is currently keg shod in front. She is up to date on vaccinations for the year and a coggins has a current coggins. I do have a video. Please call or email with questions or request for video. She does more disciplines, but the website would only let me check 5.

Hey, just a couple quick questions. When you say "determined", what exactly do you mean? Does she move off without a fuss, have a good whoa, etc? Have you ever had her barefoot, or does she NEED shoes? Do you have any conformation shots? That is, pics of her from the side, standing square, untacked? And one last one, is the price negotiable? Thanks in advance for answering my many questions! :)

Hi Sarah. The best way I can describe determined is with this example. I was trail riding with my girlfriend and we passed another group of 3 horses. My girlfriend went on by and continued on the trail, when it was my turn to pass, Ellie turned around to follow the other horses and I had to call out to my girlfriend to come back so Ellie would continue with her own trail buddy. She moves off fine, likes to lead and will follow if in the right group of horses. She has a good whoa, sidepasses, backs etc. Yes she has been barefoot and is currently barefoot. After I move, I plan to shoe her in the front as I do every year just to help protect her feet, however, she could go without. I think I have some confirmation shots, I will send them. She has won model classes before including 1st place as a 2 year old in our futurity progam. Price may be negotiable. I think for a 10 year old mare this is a fair price.
