Chief has a lot of aptitude and is a gifted, talented and experienced horse that anyone would be proud to own and show. He has had Clinton Anderson groundwork training. He was shown by a 13-year old girl in Canada who was in a very active 3-day event program. He is very honest, cute and scopy over fences. His dressage scores in Canada were equaled only by his stadium jumping. He is not as bold cross country. He trailers in step-up or ramp trailers. Stands for the farrier and is good in the wash rack and clips.
He has excellent stable manners. At his size, he is able to obtain a pony card, which makes a perfect campaigning category for any child. He has been ridden all over 3-Runs Plantation and Bluffwood and down the country roads here in Aiken County, as well as in Canada and New Hampshire. He is very well behaved and trustworthy as a trail horse. This summer, he even played some summer polo with the barn's manager, an avid polo player, and had a lot of fun for himself. He is sweet, he is kind, he is willing, he has a good work ethic -- AND I HATE TO SELL HIM. Everyone loves him to death. After I broke my back jumping -- ON ANOTHER HORSE -- this is the horse who gave me back my courage. I have been proud to own him for the past four years and never gone home without a backseat full of ribbons from horse shows, or a smile on my face from anywhere else.
