Take a look at this coming 4 yr old appaloosa mare. KTs Jazzy Dream, is a super nice mare who has been used in 4-H as a 2 yr old project and 3 yr old project. She placed in the top 5 mares at state and top 3 in the 3 yr old project last yr at state. "Jazz" has been shown in western and English pl, horsemanship, equitation, showmanship and halter. She has potential for other disciplines such as reining and possibly competative trail. Jazz is easy to work with and has a sweet gentle disposition. She is sound and has had regular farrier care, worming, and vaccines. She loads and clips and has been ridden indoors and out. This mare is put together very nicely and shines at halter. Her tail needs some care as it has thinned over the last yr. but an artificial tail takes care of that. Jazz is an awesome mare that you won't want to pass up. Her dam was a proven western pl mare and her bloodlines speak for themselves. She has tons of potential and just needs finished and the chance to shine where ever you take her.

I am looking for a show horse for my 9 yr old. Does she do well with kids?
this mare just turned four. So she's very young herself, for a young rider. also, she's not what I would call a "finished" horse. So I would say, if you have a trainer to finish her, maybe. If you don't then I would say, "no" she's not gonna work for a younger kid. She gentle, but not push button. The only rider who has ever ridden Jazz, is my 17 yr old daughter who raised and trained her. but a 9 yr old may not know how to finish her, or make her "work"...
