April is a one-of-a-kind and unique horse. Being a rare cremello with blue eyes, I always stand out and get many compliments! She is registered Pinto, but she is half QH and half Arabian. I am her second owner, I bought her off the farm she was bred and raised at. She has brought me many accomplishments; including many WSCA 1st places and champ show qualifications, multiple 2D/3D placings at jackpots & larger shows, high points, and even qualifying for NBHA Youth World our first year (2011). Don't let her height fool you- she keeps up with those big horses no problem!!! April is a consistent middle 2D/high 3D barrel horse at large open barrel races, and has even taken some 1D/2D placings in the youth. MN NBHA State this year we made both the open & youth short go's and were in the middle 2D for both. Rockin' D Acres youth 2D winner. Race for the Roses we placed 5th in the 3D in the open. She is the deluxe horse for a youth wanting a step-up and to have a new challenge in gaming/barrel racing. She knows all WSCA/4-H events. Has been shown in all western, english, gaming, and trail classes in 4-H. There is no buck, kick, or rear in this horse. She gets along good with other horses, goes on trail rides by herself and is fine with others as well. She is easy to catch, loads and hauls great, clips, stands for vet&farrier, bathes, goes thru water (she LOVES to swim!), great hooves- no shoes required. UTD on all shots/coggins, farrier, and deworming. She truly loves her job of running the barrels and other games. April is a free-runner, yet has great controllability and will slow down when asked. If you want energy- here ya go! She will get antsy at the gate, but only because she is excited- she will always go through with no huge problems! Due to her energy and will to run, I ask for no beginners. April needs a rider that will control her well, have good hands and seat, and can ride to her potential.
