Costas lusitanos has been breeding and bullfighting lusitanos for over 20 years so we specialize in only the best of the best. In 2005 we came across Zarco HM with looks to die for and tremendous bloodlines that made us have to have him. He... was imported from the Modelo ranch in Brazil.
Zarco has probably one of the best collections of lusitano stallions in his bloodlines you will ever see all out of the famous Manuel Veiga bloodlines starting off with his sire Quieto who was 2 time best horse in Brazil and in Mexico, Habil, Dardo II, Zimbro & Nilo all in that exact order and this is only on his top half on the bottom he has Mistral do Top Afiancado de flandes.
His offspring have remarkable personalities, acquire the same wonderful baroque look that everyone is looking for in a lusitano and have his elastic movements. Along with his astounding athleticism, he throws amazing colours. I have had many requests to have Zarco colour tested so at the moment he is in the process of being colour tested and I will be posting his results. I have been breeding Zarco for the last 5 years and he has thrown buckskins, palominos, cremellos, smokey blacks and chestnuts. More information and pictures will be posted soon.
