She is sweet, sweet, sweet...and easy, easy, easy!
Definitely a 'people horse', she was imprinted from the start, and spends all of her time and energy loving humans, and trying to please them.
All of her young life, Andromeda has been treated extremely well, fairly, and with lots of love, affection and respect. Because of this, (and in addition to her wonderful natural temperament and breeding), she trusts humans, and takes to all her handling and training calmly, eagerly, and happily.
Andromeda has been one of the easiest and most willing horses that Clare Long has ever trained.
Grooming, clipping, leading, tieing, trailering, picking up feet, trimming feet, wrapping, longeing, long-lining, saddling, bridling, blanketing...all a cinch! ( So, when it's time for her to go under saddle, surely that will be a cinch as well!).
Andromeda is a nice mover, with an excellent over step in the walk. She should have super smooth and comfortable gaits, perfect for the adult amateur!
Dressage, eventing, hunter, jumper, equitation, medals, or even a trail/best friend/companion/pleasure mount...all could easily be her calling.
No soundness or health issues, clean legs, super conformation, great feet.
Her physical description is entirely well suited for the adult amateur as well: 15.2hh, (should mature around 16.1hh), 2 years and 8 months, brown/bay registered NA Oldenburg filly. Sire is the beautiful imported Mecklenburg hunter stallion "Aloha" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bev3pde67Fs), who's sire is the Hannoverian stallion "Anrit". Dam is the approved Oldenburg Thoroughbred mare "Costello's Dream", who's sire is the Argentinian TB stallion "Costello". All of this blended together certainly equals excellent modern performance horse breeding.
Andromeda is offered at $4000, but the price will obviously increase once she's going under saddle, so, this is your opportunity to own a really quality performance warmblood, and for a great price.
