Competitive, bulletproof, and gorgeous.. Supreme Sultan bred.
Taz, has been one of the best trail horses I've had the pleasure of owning for the last 5 years. Only reason I'm considering selling him is I am down sizing to focus on my colts. Walks out on loose rein, experienced riders only as I have him set up as a bridle horse. Moves off leg, reins, for performance gaits I use a double broken shank, with just a leather string as a curb chain. He will ride out on the trail/ road/ parade in a halter/ bosel/ hack. But get more control of shoulders with the bit. Rates your seat and has a big stop like a Reiner. Someone could take him in any direction, he will mark and jump anything you point him at. I've roped runaway stud colts off him in the middle of a brood mare pasture ( that was interesting) he handles every thing with grace and a wise eye. Before I got him I can tell he had some bad experiences with people and shoeing but once he trusts you, you have his heart. I lounge him good before the farrier gets here because he still gets wide eyed about that. He also does not like studs at all! This guy will take the right person where they want to go. If you like to trail ride alone and want to feel safe this is your guy. Rides in a group but likes to be In front. He has two scars on his left front and right rear, they don't interfere with his performance at all.
