Companion pony available for no charge adoption to a loving home. Motley is approximately 5-6 years old. She was rescued a little over three years ago and has been in rehabilitation since then. She is now healthy and available for adoption. She has a crooked right hind leg so is being listed as companion only, although she may be suitable for light riding by a small rider; however, she is not broke to ride. Motley is a good pasture companion and enjoys being around other animals.

Motley will need an experienced horse home as she comes from a background of starvation and malnutrition so she can still be food aggressive at times. I would also recommend continued use of her existing farrier as she can be aggressive when her feet are handled. Both of these conditions have improved dramatically in the last three years and might continue to do so. The $0 adoption fee reflects her challenges, but an adoption agreement will be required to ensure she is going to a good home.
