Tron is an aged TWH that we obtained from an elderly gentleman who could not longer care for his horses due to his own health and finances. He had 14 horses and was going to put down the ones he could not find homes for as he cared enough about them not to send them to auction. Tron was too nice of a horse to see put down while he still has so much to give. Unfortunately, our own situation has changed and I am needed out of state for most of the week to help take care of a family member, so we need to cut back on the amount of horses we have at home. It is just too much work for my husband as he works for a utility company and works many, many hours.
Please find it in your heart to give Tron a great home. We will require vet, farrier, and equine dentist references and a contract stating you will not send him to auction or sell to a broker or for slaughter.
Tron is still in great shape for an older horse. He does have a few signs of cushings but only in that he grows a long hair coat in the winter, and it takes him all summer to shed it out on his own. He still has great teeth and does not have any problems chewing food like most older horses do.
