Coming 5 year old Registered tobiano TWH Gelding
Major's Bay Beam RSW "Koda" will be 5 on May 8 of this year. He has had alot of ground work as I have owned him since a weanling. Purchased from Rise and Shine Walkers in Kokomo, Indiana. He stands approx. 15.3 - 16 hands right now (never been sticked, just an estimate) He was been started LIGHTLY under saddle in 2010 and in 2011, I never had time to work him. This winter, we have had him out on the trails for a total of 8 hours as of 2/17/12 and he has done SUPER! He has gone everywhere we have pointed him. Through creeks, up and down some steep, slippery hills, over trees, through the brush, rode through strip jobs with equipment running and never even looked at them. Has never offered to buck is not spooky. If something DOES bother him, he walks right up to it. He is calm and mellow. He has been ridden with unfamiliar horses and is excited at first, but calms right down once you get moving. He ties well, stands for farrier (has always been barefoot) stands quietly for shots (give them myself) and takes wormer very easily. He loads and hauls SUPER! Is not spooky (except around goats, but we have 2 of them ???) He lunges and gaits naturally. He is going to make someone a SUPER trail horse! . I just do NOT have time to put into him...I enjoy my pally too much to give him up and not enough time to ride two. He was trimmed on Feb. 17, 2012. Up to date on wormer. Will be due for shots in May. Please NO BEGINNERS! I will be picky where he goes. Dealers need not apply. :)
His Dam is Bonnie's Golden Beam out of Merry Mack's Sun Beam and Royal Ivory.
