Squirt is 100% a jack of all trades. I met him at 1 month old, owned him as soon as he was old enough to be weaned. I LOVE him. This horse has done it ALL with me. In our first years together he was a Jumper (mostly cross country) and light dressage. College left little time for showing so I just took him to whatever looked fun! Foxhunts, endurance race, fieldtrials, and Troy Us live mascot (Trojan Horse) at football games. As a married grown up, I use him to pony all my young colts with through the trails, and both my kids on their first rides alongside him. He has had to work cattle and rope and drag our Xmas trees home. 2 yrs ago, I barrel raced him in local saddle club for fun and won a buckle! Last year we were hired by a private mounted security company and I use him for mounted patrol. He will walk/trot/canter, compress and extend, knows leads, sidepasses, turns on haunches & forehand etc. He will do dressage/arena work, but he much prefers to be outside. 100% bulletproof but is NOT lazy. Loves to hunt, jump, or just ride. Super gentle around my kids, but can be heavy handed, so not for extreme beginners. My 4H club students have all learned something off him from aspiring Rodeo queens, to first time over a fence. I can tell he misses the one on one relationship. I have youngsters to train. He needs a new little girl:)
