Am motivated to sell and just reduced his price. The opportunity to be able to purchase a stallion like this does not come along every day. 2003 model, I raised CLASSIC POCO CASH and have his dam yet today. He is foundation bred but has a lot of halter look about him and his foals. His sire's bloodlines of OLD TOM CAT has produced many really good roping horses and CASH himself took to heading just naturally and he is darn good at it. His dam has been a very good producer for me over the years and she should be with her pedigree. Taken to a pro later on he definitely had the potential to show and compete but as what would then already be called an aged horse I elected not to spend the money. He has been used as a breeding stud only now since mid year 2010 but he is completely sound if you wanted to get him roping again. He will live cover and pasture breed. I did easily collect off him for one mare's breeding cycle at a facility set up for AI. I have never promoted Cash to his potential and he is a truly untapped gem in the horse industry for breeding.
He consistently stamps his babies well in dispositions, really good minds and they are quick to learn, super conformation and great leg bone, pretty heads, big hips plus the bonus of huge eye appeal and color. Depending on the mare used he can produce some real height. His first born and also a mare's first born with her being 15.3 HH produced a buckskin gelding that is just short of 17HH. On the other end of the height there are also some in the 14 HH ranges, again the mare is part of it.
I just cannot say anything negative at all about this stallion or his offspring. He throws a very high percentage of color. His oldest are now getting used and folks are coming back for more and sending their friends because they really like what they have or saw. I have buyers wanting to buy multiple purchases every year now out of him and also my blue roan stud. This would follow thru to a new owner if they choose to sell his babies. He is a perfect age to breed for many years and it would not take too long to cover his purchase price. Horse prices are really coming back and it's probably in my best interest to keep him but I am now at a stage in my life where I want to pursue other interests and this has led me to the decision to offer him for sale and also my world shown Blue Roan stallion, WYO BLUE HAYES which can be viewed on ad # HT315BAA0 ,note: the 0 is like in zero not O as in the alphabet. I also have broodmares that I can recommend that work very well with Cash. This is going to be a sad day for me to see this guy leave.
His 5-panel genetic test came back N/N for all 5.
