Velvet hasn't been ridden much the last few years, our granddaughter rides her 3 -4 times a year.
I have used her for packing and hunting, she does well, doesn't spook, she is used to gun fire but never up close.
My daughter and granddaughter have ridden her in parades several times with no problems.
Velvet is still a virgin. I had a dream of breading Morgan’s but have been too busy. I have had 5 back operations (work & genetic related) and the kids and grandkids are grown so we are selling her. I am throwing in 3 ton of excellent grass hay and a white quarter horse pony. The pony (Whitey) is 13 hands 32 years old and needs grain every day. I am also including some tack that includes halters and a blanket for each horse. I am flexible on the price, mostly looking for a good home. We have never transferred ownership with AMHA but you can see her lineage by going to www.allbreedpedigree.com and search for Black Velvet Nubin O'Erin.
