Myriad is a wonderfully broke, soft, obedient gelding who has competed in hunters, eventing, dressage & he has fox hunted. He is a friendly, relaxed horse, beautifully schooled and easy to ride. He is fully trained, and does not need regular schooling to perform well. He would make a wonderful mount for a pony clubber, a child coming off of a pony or an adult who wanted to show and/or ride cross country. His schooling is impeccable. He stands for mounting. His gaits are soft and smooth - anyone can sit to his trot or canter. His transitions are easy and uncomplicated. He can make any rider look good (see the part of the video that has a 10 year old advanced beginner riding him). He will make adjustments for his rider - a good rider can ride him forward and on the bit, and for an inexperienced rider he will trot along with his nose poked out and on a loose rein. He goes in a snaffle. He is brave and will jump any fence he is pointed at in the ring - no need for a pre-show school. He will jump any cross country fence as well. He is an easy keeper, healthy, with beautiful hard feet. He is a pretty mover and scopey, athletic jumper, with plenty of stride. He can live out with run-in shed or can be stalled with turnout. He is easy to handle and the ground, loads perfectly on a trailer, ties, stands like a statue for clipping, perfect manners for the blacksmith. He has had natural horsemanship training and has been desensitized. He does flying lead changes. Serious, adult inquiries only.
