Regretfully I am forced to sell my life, due to life itself getting in the way.
I’ve owned Toby since he was 2 years old, I bought him he was only saddle broke, and been sat on a handful of times. I know this horse like the back of my hand.
Toby’s a 12 year old Paint/Draft X, standing 15 hands, but don’t tell him that. Perfect guy to handle, not rammy, level headed, sensible, and an enjoyable ride-anywhere. Nothing really seems to bother him, trucks, 4-wheelers, deer, cows, you name it. He goes out on trails alone or with company and is just as brave ether way, schooled up to 4’3” but a comfy, solid ride to 3’-3’3”, Nice slow trot, steady canter, nothing about this horse says he’s a “runner”. Very honest to the jumps, will pick up the pace and open his step up when you ask and just as fast as he steps up he’ll come back down for you, He currently goes in a dee ring bit.
This horse will go in the hunter ring, Eq ring, jumper ring or even Eventing without a problem, careful, this horse has never taken a wrong step in his life!
Toby has great feet, never thrown a shoe, stands for farrier, vet, dentist, clipping, mane pulls with out batting an eye, ties to a trailer, hauls like a dream, no crib, is low- middle man in the pecking order and an easy keeper.
Only reason I am selling Toby is that he’s taught me so much since we’ve been together and I just can’t give him the time or rides he needs and deserves anymore. I’d love to find a young teenager who is looking for a reliable mount to have shown the ropes. Toby’s done everything from beginner lessons, packing a kid around a ring of cross rails to an advanced rider going cross country to jumping 3’6+.
Price is negotiable to the right home who will take him, give him what he needs and a forever home. Feel free to message me for more details or questions you may have.more about this breed:
