Been there done that family pony
Daisy was purchased for my daughter when she was 6. We have owned Daisy several years as Makaila is now 8 and she has never coliced, or foundered, she is an easy keeper. She eats one small scoop of grain once a day and 3 flakes of hay in the winter and pasture summer and fall. She goes barefoot and has fantastic feet.
She will go thru anything on a trail ride with mom or dad on their big horse. She crosses water and logs like a champ, she isn't spooky and will ride along side of the road. She will also carry a small (up to 5'3 and about 120pounds) beginner adults as well. She isn't one of those grouchy ponies that will only accept kids. Daisy was trained to stay with mom or dad's horse on the trail. This provides fantastic security on your first few trail rides as a parent because she won't be far in front of or behind you and she will lead or follow.
She will do poles and some ring work as well. She is walk, trot, and canter. She has never offered a buck or a rear and has never bolted under saddle. She does not jump; or so we were told from her previous owner.
Daisy also ties and tacks like an angel, she is perfect for the vet and the farrier and did fine in the trailer on the few occasions that we have wanted to take her anywhere.
Her vices are she will whinny if you leave her home and hit the trails alone.
Feel free to call or email for more info. My cell number is 434-841-7849 Pictures were taken yesterday in her thick winter coat. She is a palomino pony with a white blaze. Her feet were trimmed 2/27/2013 and she goes 12weeks between trims and her Coggins is current thru Jan of 2014
