Forrest is available for adoption to the right home. Please be aware that this about adopting him to a permanent and loving home and any potential adopter will be asked to complete an adoption application and if approved an adoption contract. He is current on vaccinations, dental, on a deworming schedule, and consistent farrier trims. He did have a left front club hoof but had corrective surgery performed on November 19, 2010 and the recommendation after the surgery was to have consistent trims. The hoof looks significantly better in terms of shape and appearance. He has never been off on that leg either prior or after the surgery. Photos were taken to show the left front hoof. No corrective shoeing is required, just more frequent trims. No medical issues or behavioral vices.
Forrest is currently turned out 24-7 with access to a run in shed with another gelding. He is on Strategy Healthy Edge twice a day and hay twice a day. He has not been started under saddle yet but I feel that he would make a nice pleasure or trail horse. I am looking for a permanent home for the rest of his life, with a $700 adoption fee, vet reference, farm visit and adoption contract in place. Forrest must remain in New Jersey. Forrest is a beautiful, well bred, nice moving horse looking for a permanent loving home. Photographs were taken August 2011. Serious applicatns only.
