Foaled: May 29, 2004 Registered: NO, eligible for SMHA, SSHBEA, NSSHA and PtHA Sire: Smokey Joe's Black Hawk Dam: Sassy Macie Height: 15.2 Color: Black Pinto (tovero), One blue eye, One half blue eye Sabrina is a beautiful tovero with a stunning conformation, she has had four very exceptional foals, three fillies and stud colt. Her latest foal was a solid bay filly, her 2010 foal was a black tobiano filly, her 2008 foal was a buckskin tovero colt, 2007 foal was a buckskin overo filly. She has broodmare potential, but she has also been a fabulous riding mare. She has been on many trails all over Kentucky, TN and VA. She does very well alone, in the front with big or large groups, she does well in the middle or behind. No kick, buck, or rear. She crosses logs, bridges, mud, water and goes up or down any terrain. She was actually trained as a two and three year old on obstacles courses through some very challenging courses at that. This mare has also been used a lot for 4H with my little niece as she has grown over the years, she has been on 4H camping trips, 4H shows, trails and more. She would need a refresher before I put a child back on her, just because she had a foal this year and all mares have energy after being weaned and getting back in the saddle. I believe Sabrina is suitable for an Intermediate rider of any age. I think as long as the rider is able to properly rein a horse and exchange gaits, they can handle this mare, she is not aggressive at all. She is VERY NATURALLY gaited. NO trot, NO skip, NO canter.
