Josey is a very sweet part gaited 15 hand mare. She is approximately 13 yrs old. We purchased her as a rescue in December, she was extremely under weight and looked terrible, now Josey is happy and healthy and has made a complete recovery. A friend of mine has been working with her and so far she loads, bathes, stands for the farrier, ties, stands to be saddled and lounges with and without a saddle great. She clips very well all accept for her ears which she isnt big on you sticking a buzzing object on her highly sensitive ears, but with some patience and repetition she will overcome this. She is what I would consider green broke, she has never offered to buck but can be buddy sour, though she has improved greatly on this. She is not a begginers horse, experienced riders only. She is very sweet and has perfect ground manners, I think with 30 days or probably less, she would be an awesome riding horse, she loves to go and will jump right in the trailer.
