Adorable 12 yr old, bay Saddlebred mare with perfect conformation and a sweet heart personality! She is trained well and has great ground manners: NO bite, NO kick, leads, ties, clips, trailers, bathes, takes tack easily, quiet for farrier.
''Tinkerbelle' has been a shown saddleseat in the past but has been doing trails with us for the past 2 years and has little to no spook. She is fine on roads and is disinterested in traffic and dogs. She is soft in the mouth and does automatic lead changes.
Anyone can ride this horse at a walk/trot, but I would recommend an intermediate rider for her, as, she has a big motor and can fly like the wind; She does NOT try to run off with her rider but has enough energy that a new rider would likely be intimidated. My friends with lots of experience consider her easy to ride.
She did not like her life in a 'high' competition barn. She was sold because she couldn't take the stress of competing at high levels. She is out 24/7 in a herd of 7 others and is low ranking, being a soft soul. She is easy to catch and can be led in and out of the paddock with just a rope tossed over her neck.
There is nothing wrong with Tinkerbelle and she is guaranteed sound. I have a bad back and am only riding 'gaited' horses now. My daughtr (8) likes the 'ploddy' type horse so she isn't interested in having 'Tink' for her own. Posted are pics of my daughter at 7 riding 'Tink'.... I DO mean it... at a walk trot anyone can rider her!
