I have regrettably decided to offer my Percheron mare for sale - to a good home only. I have owned her for the last year and am not making use of her. I purchased her upon losing my Percheron gelding and it was simply too soon so we have not bonded. At this point, I am doing her a disservice by not finding her a home that makes the best of all she has to offer. She is approximately 14 years old and just shy of 16hh. She is solid grey/white and beautiful. She was broke as an Amish horse to farm equipment, then sold to Elysium Farm in Kentucky where she gave several wonderful Friesian cross babies (currently being used in Dressage). She has fantastic movement and could really excel in several disciplines with proper training.
She has been trail ridden, parade ridden, and used in a children's lesson program.
She is sound and calm.
She is a typical draft when it comes to her accommodations and requires large-horse-worthy containment.
I am open to payments with appropriate contracts.
