Gus is a sweet boy. Stands still for saddling and mounting and easy to load in a trailer. He has been partially trained in Natural Horsemanship, but could use some more saddle time. Based on two trainers' opinions, he'd be best for an intermediate to advanced rider, which I'm not.
Comment from Julie Phillips, a highly respected trainer: "This is a really nice horse! I had him on my ranch for several weeks. I started a colt on him, gathered cattle on him, took him swimming, and many long trail rides. He only needs a rider to match him ! He is a gentleman in his pen, and around other horses. He can ride alone or with a group or horses. He is sound and sane. I give him my endorsement !! For someone who likes a Tennessee Walking horse he is very very nice ! There are lots of people who buy a horse that is not suited for them, if you ride and are looking for a nice gelding, he is one to see !"
