Bay and White Paint Pony-7 y.o.-Rides
Scout has been a blast over the last two years. We have taken him to birthday parties for pony rides, he has entertained many camp and inner city kids in our horse ministry, he has tagged along at shows, and has been ridden by lots of students at the farm. He was purchased for my grand-daughter but she lives in FL and will probably never come to SC to visit and he really needs a job. He needs some kid to ride him and have fun with him like I did when I was a kid and had ponies. He is not for the faint at heart, he is a little cocky so don't buy him for a timid child, he needs maybe a child that is coming off a mini and wants a little bigger pony, or a kid that wants to do short stirrup that has a trainer that can further him along in his training. He would be good for a horsie family if they want to trail ride, he is not spooky and leads well, but if steering they better be able to be the boss:-) He is cute as heck, and can do many things, but he does need supervision if with little kids. He will tie, let them pick up his feet, saddle and bridle him, and you can lead him anywhere and he will go, you just have to be careful he doesn't nip! That is his only vice. He would probably make a really nice sport pony, and do short stirrup if you have a strong enough little kid to teach him. He walk trot canters on correct leads is fairly willing to jump, but no lead changes yet. We've been riding him for two years so he has good saddle time, just knows when he can take advantage-like most ponies do:-) I am looking for the right home for him. $850 firm video above
