Hello my name is "Rocky"!I came to McDonald's Farm a little over a year ago. My sire's name is "Black Rock Star" from Harris Paints in Maryland. My current owner has been trying to find my registered papers but having no luck. She contacted my sire's farm and there were no records of me being bred there, so finding my dam has been difficult. I am not sure what breed my dam was so that makes it even harder to trace. I am 7 years old and have had over 30 days training. I accept a bridle and a saddle on my back. I finally like someone riding me walk, trot and in cantering. I am very eager to please and want to learn, but needing an experienced horse person to teach me what to do. I do have several annoying habits such as nipping (I call it playing, but my current owner would not agree:) I like to crib every once in awhile, but after wearing a cribbing collar for a day or two, I learn to stop. My new mommy wants to sell me for $500 to an approved home where she can come visit me occasionally. She says the only reason she needs me to find a new home is because she is starting a breeding farm, and I am a gelding, so enough said. No, all jokes aside she said she had plans on training me and showing me but her time has been limited and feels I have been neglected a little. She wants more of a life for me with someone who will show me attention and love me like I deserve. If you are interested in seeing me or riding me please call Melanie McDonald @ McDonald Farm (804)436-2050. Thank you for your consideration.
