Dakota Driftin Gust, “Drifter” is a 2009 Dun Mare. Her top side is full of the great Blackburn breeding. She is an own daughter of Poco Dakota Buck, a proven producer and one of the main lines in our mare herd as well as our riding horses. Her bottom side is full of foundation greats, such as Poco Bueno, Orphan Drift, Blackburn, Leo, and Oklahoma Star. She has several NRHA, NCHA, NBHA money earners and Performance ROM in her pedigree. Drifter is currently completing her groundwork. She has been introduced to flags, tarps, saddling, tying, hobbles, and driving. She has exhibited a willingness to learn with an even mindset and patience. She has proven time and time again to be gentle and patient, as I have used her on a daily basis to teach a novice horsewoman on how to conduct groundwork. I expect her to stay the same way even with many wet saddle blankets. She has been raised in big open pastures, has been around tractors, 4 wheelers, and dogs. She stands tied, UTD deworming and shots, and hauls. Drifter would make an excellent riding horse or a great addition to anyone’s breeding program. Priced at $1050 OBO.
