Information: Born in Mineral Wells, TX. Toimpulsivetonotice is a registered American Quarter Horse who has a beautiful and striking Bay Roan coat and turned 5 in April of 2016. She stands between 15.0-15.1hh (we have not measured her recently but she has grown in the time we have had her in our care). This mare is “green broke” and best suited for an Advanced Beginner working with a trainer/ getting lessons or an Intermediate level rider. She trailers well. Stands well for the farrier. Leads well (forward/backward). Walk, trot, lope transitions are nice. She is learning vertical flexion. Nicely responsive to seat and leg cues (do not be a heavy handed rider) and has a nice solid foundation on her. Picks up concepts and patterns fairly quickly. Likes to play on obstacle courses. She is being ridden in a smooth snaffle using direct and indirect reining. She does not neck reign currently but could be taught (we’ve been working on it). She has not had a rope thrown off of her currently. Her breeding leans more towards the Western Pleasure side of the western disciplines and she has had some previous fundamental training in that area. Her human should be familiar with a “natural horsemanship” approach, be willing to continue her training using productive groundwork (not just riding) and help her to achieve her full potential. She has a quick mind, sensitive spirit and a willing heart. This is not a “kid’s horse” or “husband’s horse” at all so if that is what you are looking for please move on. She thrives in a home that can work with her 2-3 times a week, can expose her gently to new experiences and that have some real experience working with younger horses.
She is currently in a training conditioning program that should wrap up in the next 60-90 days. Once that program is completed her price WILL go up!
NO TRADES and NO LOW BALL OFFERS! We will be actively screening all interested parties so expect to answer some questions BEFORE we make an appointment with you to come meet her and expect to be able demonstrate your horsemanship skills when you do!
