Appaloosa Red Roan Gelding, 13 yrs old, 16.1H. Great trail horse. Needs an intermediate, confident rider. If he can take advantage, he will. I bought him for my 13 year old son and other unexperienced riders but he needs someone more experienced. When someone with confidence rides him, he is awsome! He is great on trail, he does seem a little barn sour. I do lunge him before I ride him but the previous owner never did. He doesn't like the arena and can be stubborn trying to get him to work around the arena and barn. He has not been ridden a lot lately. If I had a lot more experience I would keep him but he is only my second horse and I have only been riding for 1 1/2 years. He is just to much horse for me and my family. He is very sweet! He stands quietly to be groomed, bathed, shoed. I sent him to Temecula for a month of trail riding and he did great. I was told by the previous owner that he has been in the Norco parades. I hate to give him up, it is heart breaking for me. I will be very picky to who he goes to, I'm not in a hurry to sell him. I just think it's unfair for me to keep him and not use him. I will want somethign signed that he comes back to me for same price if you decide not to keep him! I really want him to go to a forever, good home only!! I would consider feed lease in Norco.
