This is a real Amerigo, not the less expensive Vega.
The saddle has front and rear blocks and excellent condition 4 billets per side. It is a pretty color and the tree is 100% sound and the panels are uniform.
-13 1/2" width flaps at widest place across
-4" between felt dots
-Uniform panels and nice clean gullet channel. This is a competition ready saddle.
-Serial number 17N532042. N stands for Normal tree, not narrow! C2 is stamped under the serial number.
-Made in Italy.
The saddle has front and rear blocks and 4 billets on each side which are in excellent condition. The tree is 100% sound, the panels are uniform and the padded flaps are squishy - your leg is snuggled right in to them. It is a terrific jumping saddle. The saddle color seems to match Oakbark color leathers made by most companies. The HarmonCraft Regal leathers and irons shown with the saddle come with it.
-I am picky about my saddles. PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION. I want you to be happy with the saddle and value my reputation as a seller. This is a nice jumping saddle with the following cosmetic blemishes:
The leather is supple overall with typical discolorations found in used brown leather saddles.
There are surface indentations from teeth marks on right skirt.
There are normal flap rubs and leather discoloration from the rider's leg on the flaps.
A vertical cut on the left edge of the cantle leather has been filled and is a noticeable cosmetic blemish which does not affect function.
The seat leather is a softer grippier type of leather and shows subtle surface crazing, slight color variation and a darker spot the cantle back.
The Harmon Craft leathers show cracking above and below hole 9 but seem to be sound and show normal use other than that area.
Overall, this is a terrific high quality saddle that is READY TO TAKE TO COMPETITIONS and is bargain priced due to the noted blemishes. Note that the retail on these Amerigo jumping saddles in over $4,000 new - it is a really nice quality used saddle with many years of use left.
