“Pepper� is a wonderful loving pony. She greets you with a whinny and comes over to say hello. I have owned Pepper for 6 years. She is 11 years old, 13.2 hh and a roan sort of color. I use Pepper mainly as an english pony, I grew up jumping in Calgary and have competed at spruce meadows. Bought Pepper as a fun project while I was going to school. She jumps up to 3 feet, has her flying lead changes down and never refuses! I have taken Pepper in many shows doing the amberlea, gorsline and whitemud shows in Edmonton. Pepper always is in the ribbons in the Hunters and Jumpers. I had a ten-year-old beginner rider lease Pepper for two years, she took her to a bunch of schooling shows and did very well on her! She was jumping x-rails with Pepper. Pepper is a forward pony, would never take off, but would need a confident rider. She has been clipped every winter, I use a blow dryer to dry her off, she ties excellent, trailers no problem, very brave and bold, and she has trailer by herself and in a 25 horse, horse trailer. Is great with the farrier and vet. I have also used Pepper as a Guide horse for my summer jobs, and she has been all over the mountains, she has done over night trips, is brave with wild animals and will go over or through anything. She has been out to the Ya-Ha-Tinda, Wilmore area, cadamine, and kananaskis. Is brave as a lead horse or will happily take up the rear. She has been barrel raced a bit and would also be a fun 4-H or gymkana pony.

Out of the six years I have owned her we only need the vet once, she was found to be 100% sound. She has NEVER had any lameness. She was also recently checked by the vet and is found to be in perfect health and excellent fitness and weight. Is an easy keeper, gets along great with other horses and all animals! I have always had her barefoot. I am only selling this amazing pony because I got offered a job overseas for a one-year contract. I can’t afford to keep her while I am away, and also it wouldn’t be fair to her. I am looking for a great loving home for Pepper, she is a real character, would best suit a child wanting to be competitive in jumping, pony club, or 4-H. Would be a wonderful mount for a smaller adult who is looking for a confidence booster but doesn’t mind a horse with a bit of life. She is very safe has never bucked or taken off.
