Monet is out of a friesian stud (Zephan) and a Kentucky Mountain Horse mare (Mystical Illusian). Her half sister and only other foal out of the mare is the 2006 UMH Weanling Conformation World Grand Champion. The mare throws very good conformation. She is started under saddle and has done exceptionally well with no vices under saddle or on the ground. She is still green but frames up beautifully, is willing to go over crossrails now, and is verbally trained. She would make a very nice dressage prospect or fox hunter. She has good herd sense and is very good in a stall. She was broke this summer and the reason for the wait was that she had a luxating patella as a 2 year old. From vets suggestion she was allowed to continue to grow and was cleared by the vet this spring. I have seen no locking of the knee at all. She had no health issues and has amazing feet. This is the best horse I have ever worked with as well as the my dream horse since I was a small kid. I am selling due to the fact that I am getting my PhD and will not be able to come home much if at all for the next several years. The price is negotiable to the right home. I have more recent pictures and videos if requested.
