Chantachick a.k.a. Rascal is a 20 year old semi-retired speed event horse. She has been used to race barrels, poles and several other speed event races for the last several years. She has by no means had her legs ran off, she had a 5 year break while I was in college, but she is a very reliable, pull out of pasture, ready to go kind of horse. However I think it is time for her to move onto a new career path. Rascal is in need of someone that is looking for a good pasture, ranch work horse that maybe wants to go to a gymkana every now and then still be able to compete. She was still running 4D barrel patterns this last summer and placing. She does great with cattle and don't let her age fool you, she is like a steam engine and never runs out of energy, she is all heart! My dad uses her very often to move cattle with and all the boys can't believe that she is 20, she outlasts the 5 year olds!! I do have to say though that she will need an experienced rider and somebody that knows how to handle a horse, NOT FOR A BEGINNER!!!
