Nellie is a 13 year old Buckskin mare that has been used for just about anything you can think of. She is a finished barrel, pole and goat horse and has been used for junior rodeos. I have won money and buckles on this mare. She has also been used around cattle for team penning and ranch sorting. She is great out on trail and has been just about everywhere from the: beach, mountains, rocky terrain, through rivers (belly deep), in fields with quads and dirt bikes riding by, on busy streets, over freeway overpasses and even through town. Nothing seems to bother Nellie. She is very quiet and well mannered. She is very safe, sane and easy going and anyone can ride her. She prefers females, but will listen to anyone. She loves attention and is a very loyal horse. She is kid safe and would make an excellent addition to anyone looking for a junior or high school rodeo horse. If rodeo isn’t your thing, then you can use her just as a trail horse. This is an exceptional mare that won’t disappoint.
